MJ was drawn to speech-language pathology because of the field’s diversity in settings, populations, and disorders, allowing SLPs to provide intervention across the lifespan. She finds immense fulfillment in establishing connections with families and supporting parents and children in the critical areas of communication and eating. MJ holds licenses in Florida and Georgia, ASHA CCCs, and has received extensive feeding therapy training, including Talk Tools Feeding Therapy, SOS Approach to Feeding, and Beckman Oral-Motor techniques. She is also trained in Meaningful Speech’s Gestalt Language Processing.
