Shelby Kahn, Speech-Language Pathologist- CF

Shelby holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in communication sciences and disorders- from the University of Central Florida and Nova Southeastern University.

Shelby has always had a passion for working with children. This love was further ignited by a life-long mentor and family friend, the late Dr. Robin Parker, a pioneer in the field of autism.

Shelby has experience working with a variety of developmental diagnoses including autism, Down syndrome, apraxia of speech and fluency disorders. She has worked as a teacher’s aide and trained alongside speech therapists in preschool and elementary school settings, including at the Baudhuin Preschool dedicated to children with autism. Shelby has also worked with neurodiverse teenagers and young adults in group-based settings.

As an SLP, Shelby loves watching children grow and evolve in their communication abilities while developing meaningful connections.
