Samantha Stella, Occupational Therapist
Samantha graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology, and went on to earn a Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. Throughout her time as a student, she worked as a behavioral tech under an applied behavioral analyst (ABA) – an experience that sparked her love for working with children. Today, she blends her knowledge of both ABA and OT to create an individualized therapy experience for each child. Her clinical experience also includes interning at Nicklaus Children’s Hospital Outpatient Center, which provided her an enriched opportunity to work with different pediatric populations. Samantha’s therapy style reflects interventions she finds especially valuable, including floor-time, play-based learning, sensory techniques, and functional activities. She is certified in Interactive Metronome, and incorporates tempo based activities when necessary to assist children with timing, attention, and coordination. She is passionate about making a positive difference in children’s lives, and strives to not let diagnoses define them.
