Julia Sabra, Music Specialist

Julia graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and dual minor degrees in both music and family, youth & community sciences. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in speech-language pathology.

Julia’s experience includes interning at the University of Florida Hillel, where she coordinated and facilitated spiritual and community service experiences for the Gainesville community. While in school, Julia also traveled the world, mainly with the B’nai B’rith Youth Organization, working as a musician and song leader. Before joining ICT, she volunteered at our winter camp, where we fell in love with her warmth, musical talent, and ability to spark and enhance language, social, sensory learning through music.

Julia has always loved working with children, and finds deep meaning in helping those with developmental challenges connect and engage. She loves seeing the smile that comes across a child’s face when they feel empowered to participate and interact. She views music as a universal language that can connect people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities.
