Jacki Rubin, Speech-Language Pathologist

Jacki graduated from the University of Florida with both Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Communication Sciences and Disorders. She started out on a path in special education but changed course after she saw a speech-language pathologist use an alternate communication device with a child and decided she wanted to dedicate herself to helping children make connections with the world around them. Before joining ICT Jacki gained experience at Joe Dimaggio Hospital, working with a variety of developmental challenges including cleft palate, craniofacial abnormalities, and autism. She weaves another of her passions, yoga, into her work as an SLP. She is certified in Creative Relaxation® Yoga Therapy for Children with Autism and Special Needs, and teaches ongoing yoga classes at here Integrated Children’s Therapy. Jacki is certified by the American Speech Language Hearing Association and has received special training in leading research-based social skills groups.
