Speech and Language Therapist


Suzette earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders with a concentration in Speech, Language and Hearing from the University of South Florida, and a Master of Science in Speech Language Pathology from Florida International University. Suzette has experience working with both children and adults with varying diagnoses and disorders in multiple settings including private and public schools, clinics, homes and hospitals. She feels that the most rewarding parts of her work are witnessing a child grow and change, and working with parents to promote carry-over and progress at home. Suzette is trained in the AEIOU Systematic Approach to Pediatric Feeding and PROMPTS for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets. She strives to make therapy both effective and fun using the DIRFloortime Model for relationship-based play. She is bilingual and certified by the American Speech and Language Hearing Association.
