Alex Sinkover, Speech-Language Pathologist

Alex holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, and an M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Nebraska Omaha.

Alex was inspired to pursue speech-language pathology by siblings in the occupational and physical therapy fields. As a speech therapist, she enjoys children’s unique personalities and humor, and is dedicated to building the genuine relationships with children that help them make lasting progress.

Alex’s experience spans private, medical, and school settings, where she worked with adults and children from diverse backgrounds. Before beginning graduate school, she was an assistant teacher in a pre-school classroom and gained a valuable understanding of working with young children. Her graduate school practicums and externships included evaluating and treating children at private clinics, school settings, and a children’s respite center. Before joining ICT, she worked as a school-based speech therapist for Miami-Dade Public Schools.

Alex received training the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS), as well as the Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental and Related Disabilities Program (LEND).
